WHAT:
The American Psychiatric Association (APA) will host a grand opening of its new headquarters in Washington, D.C., featuring a ribbon-cutting ceremony and remarks by leaders in mental health, business and government. APA's new headquarters are part of the District Wharf development, which opened in October 2017. The APA offices occupy three floors at 800 Maine Ave., SW, and include a rare books room, a member lounge for APA's more than 37,800 psychiatrists, and art installations highlighting the history of psychiatry in the United States.
