Chelsea Young completed medical school and adult psychiatry residency training at UCSF, where she focused on women's mental health and served as a Chief Resident. She subsequently completed her child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Stanford Hospital and Clinics. During fellowship she was awarded a grant to investigate climate anxiety in youth. She currently works in private practice and serves as a consultant to the Regional Center. She is a member of Climate Psychiatry Alliance, Climate Health Now, and AACAP.
