Paul Yoder
A founding partner in Shaw Yoder Antwih Schmelzer & Lange, Paul Yoder has earned an impeccable reputation among Sacramento decision makers during his long career as a legislative advocate. Clients praise Paul’s vast institutional knowledge, and his propensity for always making them feel like they are his highest priority.
Paul currently manages and is the lead advocate for the California State Association of Psychiatrists (CSAP). All five District Branches of the American Psychiatric Association belong to CSAP.
Paul’s firm also lobbies for the California Medical Association, the California Access Coalition, Fountain House, and twenty-three counties on mental health issues in both the public mental health system and private practice psychiatry.
Paul holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Yale University. He has completed all the course work towards a Master of Arts degree in Public Policy and Administration, at California State University, Sacramento. Paul is trying – but frankly struggling - to learn Italian and to play the electric bass.
