Christina Mangurian
Dr. Christina Mangurian is the Vice Chair for Diversity and Health Equity and a Professor within the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at UCSF. Dr. Mangurian actively works to further the advancement of women and minorities within medicine, conducting projects on wellbeing, childbearing and family leave, and equity. Her work has been published widely in this area, including in the Harvard Business Review, New England Journal of Medicine, and JAMA. Dr. Mangurian is also the Director of the UCSF Public Psychiatry Fellowship and a core faculty member in the UCSF Institute for Health Policy Studies and the Center for Vulnerable Populations at ZSFG. Dr. Mangurian has received NIH and foundation grants for her work reducing healthcare disparities among ethnically diverse populations with severe mental illness.
