For several years, it has been the mission of the Psychiatric Foundation of Northern California to provide a mechanism whereby Northern California psychiatrists are afforded an opportunity to step outside their offices to effect physical and measurable changes in our communities and in the lived lives of those individuals who our lives touch both inside and outside our offices.
You are aware of our prior programs – Golden Gate Bridge Barrier project to stem the tragic loss of lives; Brinton Psychiatric Homeless Project funded by Mary Jane Brinton; scholarships for residents to attend NCPS annual educational meetings; collaboration with gun and mental health conferences; and most recently, support of San Francisco Suicide Prevention.
We are in the process of determining our target area for 2021 that will benefit from funds raised by PFNC and the generosity of our Northern California psychiatrists.
The Psychiatric Foundation of Northern California asks you to make a tax-deductible contribution to fund more worthwhile causes.
To advance the quality and effectiveness of psychiatric care through advocacy, professional education and camaraderie.
