CPA and NCPS Ballots

Ballots for CPA and NCPS Elections were mailed together the week of January 18th. Due to an error, some of the CPA ballots went out without the reminder that all ballots for the CPA election must be postmarked no later than March 17, 2010, and returned to CPA.

PLEASE NOTE: NCPS ballots must be postmarked no later than February 15, 2010, and returned to the NCPS office.

You may have noted that two ballots were mailed to you by NCPS. One was the NCPS ballot and a second one was the CPA ballot. Some members did not receive a small envelope for the CPA ballot. If you are one of the members who did not receive the extra envelope and are concerned about the privacy of your ballot, please enclose it in a plain envelope and return it in the self addressed postage paid envelope from CPA. If you have any further questions about this notice, please call the NCPS office at 415-334-2418 ext. 105.

Online Dues

NCPS has completed testing of our first online dues payment method. Thanks to all who participated. We will be introducing an alternate online dues payment method shortly. We hope additional members will assist us by testing this method as well. Stay tuned!!

Mentors Needed

NCPS has heard from early career psychiatrists that it would be helpful to have a more senior member serve as a mentor to them.  The idea of formalizing a mentorship program has been discussed in a number of meetings this past year.

To that end, I would like to invite participation by mentors. If you have been in practice for more than five years and would like to mentor a younger psychiatrist, please let me know by email:  BMilin@aol.com.  Tell me about your practice and where you are located. We will try to match you with someone in your area.
