California Pacific Medical Center offers a four year general psychiatry residency program in one of the most highly regarded medical centers in Northern California. There are four residents per year (a total of 16). An enthusiastic and dedicated core faculty provide individualized attention to residents in an environment where education is highly valued. There is a large clinical attending staff that provides supervision in various modalities and disciplines in psychotherapy, pharmacotherapy and specialized areas of psychiatry. Clinical sites are rich and diverse with the majority of time spent on the CPMC Pacific campus. The extensive academic, cultural and social resources of San Francisco contribute to an exciting training environment, in a residency program that values the individual.
