We are thrilled to announce the revival of the former Government Affairs (GA) Committee, now rebranded as the NCPS Advocacy Forum by our dedicated planning committee. This transformation marks a new era of engagement, not only with state legislation but also with local initiatives that impact our community directly.

The creation of this dynamic committee is an initiative spearheaded by Parnika Saxena, MD, FAPA. During her tenure as Chair of the CSAP Government Affairs Committee (GAC) / NCPS Representative to the CSAP GAC, Dr. Saxena recognized the need to have broader avenues for members to express their stances on state policy and ensure that CSAP is representing the will of the members. 

After reaching out to other NCPS leaders, it was quickly apparent that avenues to support local advocacy are also needed. These conclusions solidified the start of the Advocacy Forum.

We are actively seeking enthusiastic members to join us. Your involvement is crucial in shaping the programs, goals, and stances of the NCPS Advocacy Forum. This is your opportunity to make a significant impact on both state and local levels.
