The NCPS Nominations Committee, Chaired by Emaya Anbalagan, MD, is excited to announce that nominations are now open for the 2026–2027 NCPS Council Election! This is your opportunity to lead, inspire, and make a lasting impact on psychiatry in our region.

  • Nominate yourself or a colleague
  • All nominees must be current NCPS/APA members
  • Deadline: September 21, 2025

  • President-Elect (1 yr. term)
  • Vice President (1 yr. term)
  • Treasurer (1 yr. term)
  • Secretary (1 yr. term)
  • APA Assembly Representative (4 yr. term)
  • Councilor at large (2 openings), (3 yr. term)
  • Resident Fellow Member Representative (2 allowed per program), (1 yr. term)
    • CPMC, Kaiser Oakland, Kaiser San Jose, San Mateo, Stanford, & UCSF

Deadline: September 21, 2025

Nominations will be announced at our Annual Membership Meeting on October 1, 2025. Additional nominations may be made from the floor or by petition (signed by 5 NCPS members) through December 31, 2025. Final ballots go out in January 2026.
