2025 Members Meeting Highlights
NCPS members gathered on October 1, 2025, at Pinstripes in San Mateo for an evening that brought together community, leadership, and celebration. This marked our third Members Meeting at Pinstripes, a venue members continue to love for its welcoming bistro atmosphere, bowling and bocce courts, and easy free parking. More importantly, it offered space for what matters most—reconnecting with colleagues, seeing old friends, and meeting new ones.
After informal networking over food and drinks, the evening transitioned into the NCPS Council Meeting, giving members a firsthand look at how the Council functions.
President Parnika Saxena led a discussion on advocacy and emphasized the importance of member engagement during these unprecedented times, underscoring the need for a strong, unified voice in psychiatry.
President-Elect Emaya Anbalagan shared the slate of nominees for the 2026–2027 election (click here to see the full slate), followed by key business updates.
The night continued with the NCPS Awards Ceremony, recognizing members and partners making a meaningful impact in the field of mental health. Here is a list of the presented awards and winners:
- Committee Person of the Year: Jacquelyn Chang MD
- Geri Taylor Memorial Award: Honorable Stephen Manley
