Louai Bilal
Louai Bilal, MD is the medical director of Kaiser Permanente’s Medical Psychiatry Unit in Fremont, CA. He has clinical, administrative, and teaching roles. Before joining Kaiser, he was a full time academic psychiatrist at UCSF, teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. His expertise is in acute care psychiatry, psychopharmacology, psychopathology, Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), and administration. He received his medical education in Hungary, and his psychiatry residency training and master’s degree in clinical pharmacology from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
