Erin Philip
Erin Berry Philp is the Director of State Government Relations at the American Psychiatric Association. She is an attorney with experience in both legislative matters and political law. Her background includes drafting and analyzing state and federal legislation, federal congressional relations, state government relations, legal and political research, speech writing, and building coalitions to support specific legislation and policy goals. Prior to coming to the American Psychiatric Association, Erin was Legislative Counsel to a Member of Congress, worked as Legal Advisor & Deputy Director of Congressional Relations for the U.S. Office of Special Counsel, was Deputy Counsel for two large state political organizations, and was the Manager of State Government Affairs for the American Society of Anesthesiologists.
