Differences in Mental Health Care in Asia and America | Committee on Asian American Issues

Come join the Committee on Asian American Issues for a meeting on "Differences in Mental Health Care in Asia and America." Stanford Clinical Associate Professor Huiqiong Deng and Stanford Clinical Assistant Professor Bora Kim will share their experiences as clinicians working in China and Korea, respectively, compared to their work in the US. This meeting is intended to give clinicians a better cultural understanding of Asian immigrants who may have expectations from encounters in their home countries.

The Committee on Asian American Issues meets regularly to promote education, build community, and encourage informal mentoring. Meetings are open to any NCPS member interested in Asian American issues.
